Our friend Julie travels to Haiti several times each year with suitcases full of powdered milk.

In Haiti it is often physically and financially difficult to get some of the most basic things that are used to care for the health and welfare of children, things such as cloth diapers, shampoo, milk and baby formula. Too often we may take for granted the things we have available to us by running down to the local grocery store.

Since 2007, Haiti Orphan Fund, a local New England fundraising group, has been helping to rally friends and families to provide HIS Home for Children a significant donation of needed baby formula 3-4 times a year.

There is always a need for powdered infant formula as babies in Haiti are literally starving due to lack of food, and while formula, as an item that is necessary for orphans, it is also significantly more costly in Haiti.

For more information on the formula drive, please contact Julie @ Email Julie and Facebook @Julie.

Donations sent to the Formula Drive are tax-deductible and are used to support HIS Home For Children, an organization that is recognized as a non-profit publicly funded charity and maintains 501(3)c status.
